Term time plus 3 weeks

The Governors of The Blessed Edward Campion Federation will be pleased to invite applications from candidates who are experienced and have a proven track record as an effective School Business Manager. The ideal candidate should have excellent skills in prioritising workload issues across a busy Federation, which incorporates two average sized Catholic primary schools with different demographics and needs.

We are looking for a leader who is able to take a key role as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, supporting the schools in meeting their strategic objectives through effective deployment of all aspects of school business management. The FBM will be responsible for all aspects of site and financial management, including administration, HR systems and policies to ensure that statutory requirements are met. A key aspect of the position will be to ensure that all services are of high quality, conform to legislation, are best practice and cost effective.  A secure understanding of the operations management of finance, health and safety, learning environment, management information systems & ICT, human resources, facilities and property management including procurement will be essential skills and qualities.
