We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join us in our state-of-the-art school, to provide support and intervention for students in Year 11 and the Sixth Form. Previous experience is an advantage, particularly working with students of this age group, but not essential as training will be provided. You should however be able to demonstrate adaptability and be a true team-player.
You will also be joining a team of Cover Supervisors who play an important part in school life, providing short-term cover for absent teachers, supporting the Vertical Tutoring programme where necessary, supervising classes, invigilating exams and assisting with a variety of faculty based administration tasks. It is anticipated that the role will be split equally between that of support/intervention and cover supervision; however, there will be times when flexibility will be required.
32.5 Hours per Month
Key Requirements
You will have good interpersonal skills, a confident manner and a competent level of literacy and numeracy. Ideally you will be educated to degree level, but this is not essential. Previous experience is not necessary as you will be given a full induction and training programme, supported by senior staff.
* Enhanced DBS
* Confident Manner
* Able to plan own workload & work in a team
* Ability to empathise with students
