Salary: £10159 - £10363 per annum

20 hours per week, Full Year (5 weeks holiday during school holiday periods only)

Working hours Monday to Friday 7.15am - 9.15am and 4.15pm - 6.15pm plus additional hours for lettings etc. by agreement (currently each Saturday: open at 9.30am and close at 11.30am)

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient and pro-active person to take on the role of Caretaker at our modern and well-maintained school. As well as being reliable and flexible, the successful candidate will be friendly and supportive for all users of our accommodation.

Duties will include: opening up and closing of the school site, overseeing lettings, premises management and maintenance, security of the buildings and grounds, ensuring the internal and external environment are well maintained and meet health and safety requirements.

Other necessary qualities include confidentiality, efficiency and being able to work on your own initiative and under pressure and a willingness to contribute to the continued improvement of our school.

The children at the school are highly motivated by a dedicated and committed staff and are well supported through an encouraging learning environment; this is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic school Caretaker to join our friendly and welcoming school community.
