Hours of work are varied and flexible on a fixed term or bank/casual contract, subject to funding.
To apply, you should have successful teaching experience within post 16 education and experience of supporting individual learners with a range of learning disabilities and sensory needs, including Autism. You will need to have a relevant teaching qualification. It is essential that you have a degree in a relevant subject and Level 2 Maths and English. You’ll need to be a team worker, with excellent communication, organisational and planning skills. You will also need to have computer skills with the ability to use technology to enrich teaching, learning and assessment. It is also important to have a positive, proactive, flexible approach to work with a strong commitment to excellence and student success.
For external candidates completed application forms and the diversity monitoring form should be downloaded from our website and received via email no later than 9:00am 26th April 2019. Internal candidates should complete an ‘expression of interest’ stating why they feel they have the requisite expertise to fulfil the role and send, via email, to meet the deadline above.
If you would like to discuss the role in further detail, please contact HR on 024 7642 6166 for an informal discussion.
