Job Details

Warwick District Council’s Housing Service manages over 6,000 residential dwellings as well as managing the Housing Register allocating homes to our own and Housing Association properties.

The Housing Allocations Officer post is an important role providing high quality housing advice and assistance in dealing with applicants for housing. The post involves allocating Council housing and Housing Association vacant properties according to the Council’s policy; validation of eligibility and priority criteria; accompanied viewings and the signing up of new tenancies for Council owned rented homes.

We are looking for candidates that can demonstrate excellent communication skills; the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people; flexibility to carry out a range of different tasks and experience of working in housing or a related customer service organisation.
