Assistant Technician ICT (Schools Traded Service) - ref RT61119
Salary: G3 £17,012 to 18,495 per annum, term time only (pay award pending)
This is a fixed term position until 31 March 2020

There is a Fixed Term vacancy for an assistant to ICT Support Officers within the ICT Traded Service to schools.
The ICT Traded Service Team are part of the Customer Services team providing IT support to Schools throughout the borough which requires them to visit school sites to repair equipment, install software and troubleshoot any issues within a regular visit slot.
The role involves taking front line calls during peak periods as well as being responsible for more complex and time-consuming incidents. The team are responsible for resolving technical issues and for escalating or passing incidents to others (including third party external suppliers).
The team also provides advice and guidance to schools about investing in new technology and can facilitate purchases on behalf of schools.
The role is very varied – each day has different challenges; the schools have a wide range of technology in place and IT users with many differing requirements.
This is a 37 per week shift pattern covering between 0830 am and 1700 pm
Applicants must hold a Full UK Driving licence.
