Fixed Term Contract until 31.12.19

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our neighbourhood estates team.

You will be providing an efficient and effective local estate management service, including caretaking, cleaning and maintenance service as well as supervision of contractors and visual fire risk assessment checks to blocks of flats within the District.

The Neighbourhood Officer will be required to undertake their duties in accordance with both Health and Safety and COSHH Regulations.

You will need to be organised, self-motivated and be able to work independently as you will have your own area to manage. You will also cover colleagues when needed.  Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Ideally you will need to have 2 years’ experience working in the community.

You are required to hold a full UK driving licence and have use of a vehicle.

You will be required to work every other weekend.
