Principal Building Control Surveyor
Grade J £36,876 - £40,760
Post No. DP432 - 37 Hour per week
Cannock Chase Council operate a shared service arrangement with Stafford Borough Council to provide the Building Control service on behalf of both Councils. We are looking for an experienced Building Control Surveyor who is able to cover a whole range of construction projects in addition to being able to assist with the management of the service.
This post represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced Building Control Surveyor to develop their management and professional skills and to contribute to the future development of the service.
You will be responsible for supervising a section of the team to ensure customer requirements and performance targets are met. You will take a leading role in major projects and be responsible for a portfolio of key clients.
You should have knowledge and experience of the Building Regulations and associated legislation, be IT literate and have the ability to travel around the district in order to carry out duties of the post.
