School Crossing Patrol Wardens (Various Locations) – Ref: RT61319

£8.82- £9.59 per hour (Pay Award Pending)- These posts qualify for the Living Wage. The Council is committed to paying the Living Wage which is currently £8.75 per hour. This arrangement will be reviewed annually.

We have opportunities for School Crossing Patrol Wardens at various locations throughout the Walsall Borough.  The exact hours of work can be agreed prior to appointment and will include mornings and afternoons - working on a term-time basis.

Fibbersley Park Primary
Noose Lane at Lakeside Close WS13 3BU
5.25 hours per week

Watling Street Primary
The Parade, Brownhills WS8 7LW
5.25 hours per week

St Francis Primary; Greenfield Primary,
Lichfield Road, Shelfield, 5m North of the Drive WS4 1PT
5.50 hours per week

St Mary’s of the Angels Primary/ Whetstone Primary; 
Birmingham Road, Aldridge, 5m South Tynings Lane WS9 0BG
7.55 hours per week

Pheasey Park Farm Primary,
Collingwood Drive near Morland Road, Pheasey B43 7NS
7.55 hours per week

King Charles Primary,
Churchill Road, Bentley, West of Kent Road WS2 0AW
5.50 hours per week

Castle College; Hatherton Primary
Leamore Lane, Leamore  WS2 7DA
5.00 hours per week


*Special conditions:
Due to the intrinsic nature of the work of a School Crossing Patrol Warden, and the
identifiable health and safety risks involved, this post falls within the exception to the
statutory bar on requesting pre-employment health information.

Completion of an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check is a requirement for working with children and young people.
