Job Details
Salary: £9.18 hour
A Fixed Term Contract to 31 March 2021, this is a rolling contract with potential to be extended
20 hours per week.
The Passenger Assistant collection and drop off point is from Redditch Day Services at Herbert Street Redditch B988BL.
The role involves working on a split shift to bring in adults with a disability of a morning and return them home in the afternoon.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible individual who is calm under pressure with good communication and people skills with regard to adults with a disability. You will need to be a team player working closely with the driver transporting adults with an enhanced care requirement, ensuring their comfort and safety.
A key task in this role is to physically assist clients as necessary to and from the vehicle and help them on and off the minibus by means of step or the vehicle lift according to level of need.
Candidates require the ability to undertake moderate physical activity sometimes in a confined space
A full package of training will be provided to support you in this specialist role of Passenger Assistant should you be successful.
