The Neighbourhood Services Team is committed to developing a strong, safe and cleaner community for all our tenants and leaseholders.

You will be part of a team of Estate Assistants who work across the Solihull borough and you will be responsible for a defined patch within the Chelmsley Wood area. You will be constantly mobile out on site and solely responsible for estate management duties and dealing with low level anti-social behaviour matters.

Duties will include fire integrity checks of high rise buildings, inspections of estates, the monitoring of cleaning standards in high and low rise buildings, collection of bulk waste, the removal of fly tips, and you will manage low level nuisance issues such as animal foul and parking disputes affecting communal areas.

You will have a good standard of English and literacy. You will have a good understanding of Information Technology as the role requires the use of a hand held device.

You will be a confident communicator and have excellent people skills. You will be able to form positive relationships with customers, colleagues and service providers.

You will be organised and be able to prioritise your work to meet targets and deadlines and be capable of working under pressure. Occasionally, you may be required to attend resident meetings and work out of hours.

You will be required to drive a company fleet vehicle and should have a clean driving licence.
