Museums Worcestershire is a joint museum service for Worcestershire, hosted by Worcester City Council. It oversees three beautiful historic museums where it puts on a series fascinating and enjoyable exhibitions, events and projects.

Museums Worcestershire are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to provide high quality finance and administration support to the Joint Museum Service, working at the Art Gallery & Museum in Worcester.

You will undertake a range of financial and administrative tasks including procurement of goods for the Joint Museums Service, assisting in the accounting for funding from external funders, data preparation and analytical work for the Museum Management team, as well as reconciliation and banking of income.

The successful candidate will have a background in finance and administration and be capable of producing meeting and project documentation, as well as an understanding how budgets work, ideally to end of year accounting. 

You must be computer literate with good keyboard skills and confident using financial systems. Accuracy and attention to detail is important; as well as being able to work well in a team; and have a flexible approach to daily demands.  The hours are 20 per week.
