We are delighted to offer the opportunity to join Nunnery Wood High School, a successful, popular and exciting school. You will work with highly skilled and committed colleagues who have built a thriving languages department. A reputation for strong teaching and good examination results means that language courses are becoming increasingly popular at GCSE. Students hold languages in high esteem and enjoy going to the MFL area, comprising of six dedicated rooms.

This appointment is temporary from October 2019, or sooner for the right candidate, for approximately one year. We are looking to appoint a Spanish teacher who is also able to teach French.

Nunnery Wood High School is oversubscribed and enjoys an excellent reputation in the region. A matter of weeks ago, Ofsted visited and gave the school a glowing report – in particular, praising the outstanding behaviour and courtesy of our students and the respect that they showed to staff. Our intake is broad, from the academically gifted to students requiring nurturing in numeracy and literacy.
