Area Building Control Surveyor

PO5 £33,799 - 36,876 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to become an Area Building Control Surveyor within apT, a pioneering public sector development consultancy.

apT brings together a dynamic team of Planners, Building Surveyors, Highway Engineers, Built Heritage Specialists, Ecologists, and other key specialisms to create sustainable and safe environments.

You will play a key role within the Local Authority Building Control service, helping to deliver the Councils statutory service, to ensure the delivery of safe buildings and environments.

You will carry out plan appraisals, site inspections of works in progress, inspections of dangerous structures, resolving issues and helping to continually improve and develop a commercial and efficient service.

You will need professional experience in Building Control, On site practical experience is desirable, and membership to RICS, CABE or similar with excellent communication and customer service skills.
