Do you want to make a real difference to the lives of children & young people in Worcestershire?

There is a new and exciting opportunity to join Worcestershire County Council’s Specialist Support Services

We are looking to recruit a Team Manager to manage our successful Outreach Service. The role will involve managing a team of Outreach support workers and requires a highly skilled and experienced person who is able to manage supported living placements to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people.

You will need an understanding of and a commitment to working directly with children and young people who have a range of needs including emotional, behavioural and communication. Experience of working with young people and of supervising staff is essential. You will need to have managerial and leadership qualities, with a good understanding of team dynamics. Partnership working is key within the role and you must be able to work closely with other agencies and professionals. As well as a competitive salary for this role we offer a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave entitlement, childcare vouchers and a wealth of other benefits including flexible and mobile working.
