Severn Arts is seeking a Keyboard teacher for a joint venture partnership with Yamaha.

The role

Working as part of a team you must be self-motivated and have a passion for delivering high quality music lessons.

Excellent Keyboard skills required, a good singing voice and a desire to teach young and older children.

Teaching experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. State of the art equipment with a brand new Keyboard studio you will be responsible for delivering one of Yamaha’s flagship Keyboard courses. Annual CPD is provided – initial training will be residential at Milton Keynes.

The Successful Candidate will:

  • Be able to play to a Diploma standard or similar
  • A willingness and passion to work with children
  • A professional manner and dedication
  • Be required to undergo a Fully Enhanced DBS check
  • Be able to commit 10 hours a week to teaching
  • Have excellent communication skills

Job Type: Part-time

We are also working in partnership with Malvern Hills District Council and the consortium members of a new arts programme, Reimagine Redditch to support the creative sector to grow and develop audiences
