We currently provide education for 120 pupils with a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD).  Within this category their primary need is communication and interaction and cognition and learning, but there will be pupils with additional needs relating to medical, physical or social, emotional and mental health needs. 

We are now looking to appoint a number of permanent Teaching Assistants who can demonstrate a commitment to:

• continuously raising standards for our pupils and improving their outcomes and life chances
• being creative, proactive, resourceful, energetic and very well organised
• working within a caring and safe environment and reflecting the school's priority of placing pupils at the heart of all it does
• developing your own professional development to ensure you have up to date knowledge, skills and understanding in teaching pupils with severe/complex learning difficulties and ASD
