It’s an exciting time for learning and development at Staffordshire County Council.  Our new People Strategy has a strong focus on ensuring we have a skilled workforce who are ready for today’s role and future opportunities.  SMART working is changing the way people work, bringing more opportunities for blended and digital learning.  We’re gearing up to commission our new learning and development offer, working in a way that supports a change in how people think about and access learning, with a focus on driving increased personal accountability together with an infrastructure that enables growth and progression.

We need a Learning & Development Specialist who has the drive, energy and innovation to create a new learning culture, who can balance strategy with fast-paced, effective delivery in a complex environment, who will lead the corporate L&D team and work collaboratively to join up learning across the council and with partners.
