We are looking to recruit 2 Apprentices, to train to become Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanics for the Council's Transport Team based at Lister Road.

The Transport Team are responsible for the maintenance and repairs to all vehicles and plant, from cars to refuse trucks including specialist off road vehicles.  This is a fixed 3 year contract and attendance at Walsall College will be required from September.

An Apprenticeship with Dudley MBC will give you the opportunity to gain 'hands on' experience in the workplace whilst getting paid.  The work you undertake in this role will support you towards completing a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Heavy Goods Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.

  • No experience is required as full training will be provided
