Our Governors are looking for a new Head Teacher who:

• Leads, collaborates with and empowers our staff;
• Drives the development of a curriculum that both engages and challenges our children;

• Visits their classrooms and is visible and approachable;
• Delivers fun, exciting learning assemblies;

The School can offer:
 An able, stable staff team who are willing to embrace change and are deeply invested in our school values;
 Well behaved and well-mannered children who are enthusiastic about their learning at Brockmoor, Ofsted report 2019 supports this view;
 A brand new nursery opening in Summer 2019 which offers wraparound care and has 6 enhanced places in the afternoon supported by staff from Specialist Early Years Service (SEYS);
 A close and collaborative working relationship with our Specialist Nursery Unit that accommodates 20 children and is fully staffed by SEYS;
 An established nurture programme run by our Senior Learning Mentor which includes a breakfast club, programme of Forest Schools sessions and our Weekly Sunshine Club for parents with children below school age;
 A dedicated Pastoral Care Team. Ofsted report 2019 stated “Vulnerable pupils with a wide range of complex needs are exceptionally well supported by the highly skilled pastoral team at Brockmoor”;
 An active and supportive Parent Voice team who work alongside the school to fund raise, run a full calendar of events for the children and offer challenge and insight on what we do well and what we could do better;
 A healthy school budget;
