GCSE Maths
We are seeking outstanding specialists in GCSE maths who can make maths accessible and meaningful to our adult learners.  Our GCSE programme enables success for learners who, for a variety of reasons, have not succeeded in GCSE qualifications previously.  Successful candidates will therefore be able to demonstrate the ability to facilitate learning through a broad range of methods and approaches, focussing on strategies to maximise the opportunity for success in a part-time, 1 year programme.  Our GCSE courses are delivered for 3 hours per week between September and June.  Experience of leading candidates to success under the 9-1 curriculum is essential.  Knowledge of the OCR exam board for mathematics is desirable.  All positions are zero-hours, sessional posts whereby classes are assigned on an as-needed basis.  Current vacancies are for weekly tutors who will have an assigned class (daytime and evening both considered), and for our supply pool, whereby tutors will be contacted for class cover and for 1 to 2 to1 intervention work, on an ad hoc basis.

English for Speakers of Other Languages (Evenings & Weekends)
We are seeking experienced ESOL practitioners who are interested in bringing their expertise to our well-established, vibrant English and Maths team.  Our ESOL programme works with a range of communities across Worcestershire, with delivery hotspots in Redditch, Kidderminster, Evesham and Worcester.  Our ESOL programme is primarily non-accredited, working with adult learners ranging from beginner ability through to professionals looking to polish skills in preparation for accessing qualifications such as GCSE English.  Our ESOL courses are delivered in a variety of formats, but many courses run for 2 hours per week between September and June.  All positions are zero-hours, sessional posts whereby classes are assigned on an as-needed basis.  Current vacancies are for tutors with availability for evening or weekend work.

Maths & English for Young Adults
We are seeking experienced English and Maths practitioners with expertise in supporting the development of essential skills for learners aged 16 to 24.  Our programme enables success for motivated young adults who, for a variety of reasons, have not succeeded in achieving English and maths qualifications at Level 2 previously and are now seeking to fill skills gaps and enable their next steps.  Successful candidates will therefore be able to demonstrate the ability to facilitate learning through a broad range of methods and approaches, focussing on strategies to maximise the opportunity for success and therefore progression over as short a time as possible.  Experience of leading candidates to success in Functional Skills qualifications at E3 to L2 is essential.  Knowledge of the City & Guilds Functional Skills assessments is desirable.  Awareness of the Functional Skills changes coming into force in September 2019 is also desirable.  All positions are zero hours, sessional posts whereby classes are assigned on an as-needed basis.  Candidates may apply to specialise in only English or maths, if appropriate.

Hairdressing and Beauty
