Having been awarded funding from the Big Lottery, we currently have a vacancy for a passionate individual who will work alongside our Whole Family Sessional Lead to facilitate our session delivery.
We are looking for an individual who has the desire and dedication, together with the ability, to work with children and parents in a unique environment.
Reliability and a friendly, non-judgemental approach is essential.
We are looking for applicants who pride themselves on having excellent interpersonal, listening and time management skills. Initiative and good organisational skills will also be key to your success. Applicants with enthusiasm, a real passion for the role and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
The role will include:
- Planning and delivering play sessions to children within various settings
- Working under own initiative, utilising strong leadership and excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Working with volunteers
- Providing support to the Whole Family Sessional Lead
Ideally, the successful candidate will have:
- Level 3 Childcare Qualification
- 2 years post qualifying experience
- The ability to empathise with families
- Working knowledge of EYFS
- Current Driving licence and use of a car
The hours of work are 16 hours a week based in Burton and across East Staffordshire. It is anticipated that the hours will be worked over 2 days, Friday and Saturday.
Flexible working will be required to include some evening and weekend work, where necessary. Applicants must have use of their own car at all times, for which expenses are paid. Disclosure and Barring Service check (Enhanced Level) and references will be required.
