Academy term time only (197 days per academic year), working hours from 8:20 am until 5:10 pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday with a 4:00 pm on Wednesday and 3:55 pm finish on Friday.
The JCB Academy was established in September 2010, the first of a brand new kind of school in the UK, with a focus on delivering high-quality engineering and business education.
Since opening we have been consistently successful - our Ofsted inspection in September 2018 recognised us as a “Good” school with “outstanding” features, including progress in mathematics, engineering and vocational courses and the dedication to keeping students safe and secure. Pupil numbers are growing - we have been oversubscribed every year, including for entry this September.
We are looking for an energetic, adaptable and committed individual to work with our learners. Your responsibilities will include acting as a mentor to a group of learners, supporting learners with additional needs, working with teachers to help deliver outstanding learning experiences for learners, providing cover for absent colleagues, lunchtime supervision and exam invigilation.

Closing date for applications: 9:00 am on Monday, 3 June 2019.
Interviews will be held on Thursday, 13 June 2019.
Please return your completed application to recruitment.@jcbacademy.com by 9:00 am on the closing date.
All appointments are subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check.
The JCB Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
