We are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner (Technical and Payroll) to join our busy team
providing high quality financial services to the council.

Preferably, you will be fully CIPFA qualified or willing to work towards and
we are therefore willing to consider candidates who are at the start of their
formal qualifications, i.e. minimum AAT. What is most important is
experience of working in a finance environment making full use of systems available to produce reports and management information. The role will liaise closely with the Head of Financial Services and other team members to ensure the
council is provided with timely strategic advice and financial direction in
order to aid well informed decisions.

This role will also be responsible for managing the day to day running of
transactional payroll provided via a shared service. Therefore, some
experience of payroll procedures and processes would be desirable, along
with the ability to manage and guide a small team.
