The Role:

Required for September 2019 (maternity cover in the first instance)

Ridgeway Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly motivating and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our KS2 team. This post will involve supporting teaching and learning from Y3 – Y6. The post is initially until July 2020 although has the potential to continue after this time. 

Applicants must have:

  • NVQ L3 or equivalent qualification
  • Recent experience of working in schools
  • Recent experience in KS2 would be desirable

Ridgeway is a successful 2 form entry primary school within the Burntwood Cooperative Learning Trust. We currently have 413 pupils on roll in the main school and a further 200 children accessing Nursery Education and full day care in our governor led Ridgeway Extended Services (Sunbeams Nursery and Sunny Days Nursery).

School received a further ‘Good’ rating from OFSTED at our last inspection in November 2016 and we have continued to grow and develop since this time in our journey towards outstanding.
