Environmental Support Officer (Permanent Post)

Two Days Per Week – Thursday and Friday Only

£7,772 - £8,247 per annum

15 hours per week

Warwick District Council has a growing district and is looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, self-motivated and well organised team member to join our Safer Communities Team within Health and Community Protection.

Applicants will need to have be flexible and have an adaptable attitude with the ability to work effectively on own initiative but also a good team player. Ability to deal with the general public effectively being, the first point of contact for service requests in respect of a range of environmental and nuisance issues and undertake risk assessments in relation to these.

Applicants should have strong written and verbal communication skills, be proficient in the use of Word, Excel and databases.

The annual leave entitlement is pro-rata to 23 working days plus:-

5 days pro-rata after 5 years' continuous service and plus a further

3 days pro-rata after 10 years' continuous service

9 Bank holidays and Concessionary holidays pro rata

The Local Government Pension Scheme is a contributory scheme, 5.8% will be deducted from your salary each month and paid into the fund.
