Upper KS2 Teaching Assistant x2
Salary: £9031 - £9583 per annum
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Heronswood Primary School is looking to appoint two talented, forward thinking and innovative Upper Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistants who can inspire and motivate our children.
The role is ideal for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about giving pupils the best education and one who promotes the highest of expectations in relation to behaviour and learning.
The ideal candidate would have:
- Previous experience in working in Years 4,5 and 6
- Good understanding of supporting behaviour in a nurturing environment
- Able to work with children 1:1 as required
- Able to work in the whole class environment
- Good interpersonal skills
You will need to be:
- Flexible and creative
- Positive and hard working
- Understanding of how children learn and develop
- Understanding to differing children’s needs
The role will include supporting children at lunchtime, 12.00-1.00pm outside.
The hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am-12.00 based in the classroom and 12.00-1.00pm outside.
You will be joining a school with enthusiastic and dedicated staff.
