About the roles
We are on the lookout for two talented Team Managers to join our Fostering service, one to lead the Connected Persons team and the other to lead the Fostering Assessments team.
We are passionate about improving outcomes for the children of Sandwell and want our social workers to be committed in supporting us to becoming a “Good” rated Fostering Agency.
Our Fostering Service operates as an Independent Fostering Agency and has the ability to really drive through positive change and encourage innovative practice.
You will be a supervisor, mentor, collaborator and advisor ensuring that the highest level of professional service is provided and that you support individuals of varying experience to be the best Social Worker they can be.
We want our Team Managers to inspire our social workers and be able to encourage team working.
You must be Social work qualified and have a strong knowledge of latest policy and legislation to be able to guide and advise your team.
We would like to be able to see you demonstrate that you can effectively manage people and be able to improve services.
