We are looking to recruit an experienced and dynamic Performance, Improvement and Quality Manager with a passion for using data, analysis and evidence to support service improvement and contribute to achieving better outcomes for children, young people and families.
You will line manage a team of analytical staff covering specified areas of work and lead on working with senior managers, providing specialist support, advice and recommendations on best practice in relation to qualitative and quantitative data use and auditing. You will champion evidence-informed decision making and using data and analysis to support the Directorate’s journey to improve outcomes for children, young people and families in Walsall.
You will ensure that regional and national commitments are met, ensuring that all statutory returns are submitted on time and are of a high quality. You will play a key role in preparing for internal and external inspection.
You will support the Head of Performance Improvement and Quality in delivering the Directorate’s contribution to the Council’s Corporate Plan, review and develop internal service plans, and support in the development and implementation of the Performance Management Framework. You will lead on improving access to data using new technologies including the development of self-serve applications and digital dashboards in line with the Council’s digital transformation aims.
