The Governors of this Church of England academy are seeking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and ambitious Teacher who will work within both Humanities as well as Spiritual & Social Education (Religious Studies and PSHE). The appointment is to teach across KS2 and KS3, and across all ability ranges from September 2019, and will be for one year. The post holder will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality lessons (both departments have detailed schemes of work) and engaging pupils with activities that challenge and excite. The successful candidate will demonstrate consistently high standards of teaching and excellent classroom management, drawing on the outstanding behaviour of our pupils. Additionally, the teacher’s approach will allow pupils to flourish by sharing with them a love for the subject matter and a desire to learn.
