Vocational Development Officer - Permanent Position
Starting : 1st September 2019 - 37 hours per week Monday - Friday TERM TIME ONLY
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8.30-4.30pm, Wednesday 8.30-5.00pm, Friday 8.30-3.30pm
Actual Salary: £25,857 to £30,457 Pending pay award
This is an exciting new role in the expanding Sixth Form Team at Hednesford Valley High, based at Cannock Chase High School.
This role involves planning, delivering and assessing English, Maths, Health and Social Care, Employability, Leisure and Personal, Social Citizenship and Health Education (PSCHE). The subjects may change each year.
You will be required to work with colleagues across both sites to organise the Christmas Show, develop leisure, residentials and Sixth Form Youth Club for the students.
This role may involve working on the Hednesford Valley High site as well as the Cannock Chase High School in the future.
You will be required to attend meetings and training on the HVH site.
Hednesford Valley High is a generic Special Needs secondary school (11-19). The school has a wide range of students: statemented, MLD, SLD, PMLD, ASD, SpLD, VI and HI. Some students have a combination of needs.
Please note this position is term-time only and the actual salary will be £25,857 to £30,457.
