The Role

The Canons CE Primary School is an ‘Outstanding’ school and the Governors are looking to appoint an excellent PE and Sports Coach starting from September 2019. The post holder will work across both KS1 and KS2. 
The Governors are looking to appoint a calm, creative, enthusiastic and hard-working individual, with a positive mind-set, who is prepared to contribute fully to all aspects of school life and work as part of a dedicated team to enhance our students’ learning and personal development. The post will involve leading on a number of sporting activities both during lunch and after school.

Hours 26.25, Term Time + Teacher Training Days, Scale Point F, Salary depending on experience (19,171 – 21,166 pro rata) 

Fixed term contract until 20th July 2020


Key Requirements

The successful applicant will utilise their sporting abilities to engage students in the full range of activities and will contribute fully, through their leadership skills and expertise, to a thriving PE Department. This post is particularly suitable for a graduate seeking school-based experience or existing support staff with experience of working with Primary Children. Appropriate PE and coaching qualifications at level 2 or above are desirable.
