We now require an:
Accelerate Project Support Administrator

  • Salary £21,859 plus 8% pension contribution
  • 37 hours per week

As a Project Support Administrator you will provide a high level of support for both the administrative and financial tasks associated with the delivery of the Building Better Opportunities Accelerate Project. A high level of attention to detail is required and experience in an administrative role with European Funding is desirable. 

This post is fully funded by the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund.

Purpose of the post

To support the project management team complete administrative tasks associated with the delivery and finance of the Accelerate Project

 Duties and responsibilities specific to the post 

  1. Support members of the project management team to organise project meetings including but not limited to organising venue, catering, sending documentation, management of the day
  2. Review Accelerate Project Timesheets 
  3. Track and chase Accelerate project claim documentation (both participant and finance)
  4. Create and organise participant files
  5. Support Accelerate project management team to check claim documentation
  6. Liaise with colleagues and partner organisations
  7. Disseminate project publicity and other project material as required
  8. Update data on project extranet
  9. Ensure that Information Security is maintained at all times

General Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Maintain appropriate work records in accordance with project and agency requirements. 
  2. Provide cover for other administrative staff as appropriate
  3. Work to quality standards current in the Agency
  4. Undertake any other work which the Finance Manager may require in keeping with the general purposes of the job
  5. To comply with all agency policies and procedures

Person Specification

A. Essential Requirements

  1. Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in your work
  2. Numerate and literate and able to communicate clearly
  3. Experience of working in an administrative function
  4. Good IT skills which include the ability to confidently use Microsoft Office applications

B.  Desirable Requirement

  1. Previous administrative experience of working on European Funded projects
  2. Flexible around hours of work
