CLASS TEACHER Y5/6 – Required from September 2019 – Full-time – 12 month Temporary Contract - Strong knowledge and experience in KS2, preferably with Year’s 5 & 6.

The Governors at Woodseaves Primary Academy are offering the opportunity for an inspirational and highly motivated Teacher to join our fantastic team of staff on a 12 month temporary basis from September 2019.

Woodseaves Primary Academy is part of the Shire Learning Trust (formerly West Stafford Multi Academy Trust) along with our sister schools of Gnosall St Lawrence and Haughton St Giles. Our school is a small rural school situated on the outskirts of Stafford with a NOR of 100.  Our community are our family and we work incredibly hard to tailor learning to meet our children’s needs.  We are looking for a like-minded person who truly wants to make a difference; who understands the importance of good teaching and learning and who is committed and loyal.

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • is an innovative and exciting classroom practitioner with at least 2 year’s teaching experience;
  • is  passionate about raising standards and attainment for all children;
  • is a real team player;
  • can inspire, motivate and challenge our children;
  • can create a stimulating environment which facilitates high quality teaching and learning;
  • is willing to go that extra mile and take part in all aspects of school life;
  • is committed to promote our Christian ethos as a Church School
  • An interest in maths would be advantageous.
