This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced staff to learn the interpersonal and management skills needed to work with young people and adults whilst also being given the opportunity to share your own expertise and think creatively about how to help the school move forward with PE. You will work towards gaining a Level 2 NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Physical Education and School Sport.

About you

You will need to be enthusiastic, supportive and flexible as no two days are the same in a primary school. You will need to be encouraging and modelling the type of performance and behaviour you want pupils to show. Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, enjoy working with children, be reliable, committed and a team player.

About us

St. Andrew’s CE Infant school is a two-form entry infant school on the outskirts of Coventry which provides high quality learning experiences for children aged four to seven years of age.

Apprenticeship will begin the week commencing 27 August 2019

Working Pattern

Hours - 35 hours per week
8.30am- 4.00pm, Monday – Friday

Shortlisted applicants will be required to plan and deliver an engaging lunch time activity for children aged 5-7 years to participate in and attend a formal interview.
