Insurance & Loss Control Advisor - Ref: RT63119
£44,190 - £49,448 per annum
The Resources & Transformation Directorate are looking to recruit an Insurance & Loss Control Advisor to provide day to day management of the Council’s insurance and loss control arrangements and to provide support to the Head and Deputy Head of Finance in the delivery of projects for the Walsall Proud Programme at this exciting time for Walsall Council.
The main duties of the post holder will be to provide day to day management of the Council’s Insurance & Loss Control Team and to take the lead on the Council’s insurance and loss funding arrangements, including self-insurance arrangements where this is appropriate.
You will have experience of working with complex insurance solutions within a large organisation and experience of dealing with self-insurance arrangements. You wil also have a professional qualification relating to insurance, risk management or loss control and will need to have good communication skills with a knowledge of complex governance arrangements.
