We are looking to recruit a dynamic, committed and enthusiastic Principal Accountant. You should be a strategic thinker and qualified accountant. Alongside being a technical expert, the role requires excellent people, communication and management skills and an aptitude to influence and embrace change.
You should have in-depth knowledge and proven experience of Local Authority accounting and, reporting to a Finance Business Partner, will be responsible for leading and motivating a Financial Management team providing support, analysis and advice across our service areas.
Applicants will need to be a CCAB qualified accountant and be able to demonstrate experience in managing staff and of operating with senior officers, stakeholders and partnership groups.
