Science Technician
Full time, Permanent Contract
37 Hours Per Week, Term-Time Only + 5 PD Days (39 Weeks per annum)
Salary Band Grade 5 D, SCP 5-6
(starting on Point 5, £18,795 per annum pro-rata)
We are seeking a dedicated, reliable and enthusiastic Science Technician to join our friendly team of technicians who provide support across the sciences. You will assist in the day-to-day support of the learning environment, providing technical assistance in the classroom, preparing equipment and materials for lessons, maintaining general care and cleanliness of laboratories and prep rooms for Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. This role is pivotal to supporting the practical and technical aspects of our science curriculum and involves managing others and preparing, providing, maintaining and organising resources and be confident to work with all Science equipment, safely following all Health and Safety regulations as necessary. The ability to use own initiative and work efficiently and effectively to tight deadlines is essential.
