Bedworth and North Warwickshire Children's Safeguarding and Support Team is looking for a Team Manager to join our Case Management Practice. If you are looking for a new challenge within a supportive team – then look no further!

The Role

37.0 Hours per Week

The team is responsible for ensuring that children and young people are protected in accordance with legislation and the Council’s own policy and guidelines. We’re looking for a Team Manager with a genuine commitment to getting the best outcomes for Children and families to join our team, helping us to develop and drive forward our services. You will be required to lead and manage a team of social work staff, you’ll be responsible for managing and allocating the workload, ensuring robust assessments are undertaken as well as promoting the development of your staffing group. This will including undertaking appraisals; setting objectives; identifying training needs and areas for development as well as supporting with the recruitment of staff.

Key Requirements

  •  Professional Social Work qualification (MA/BA/BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or Certificate of Qualification in Social Work (CQSW)) 
  • HCPC registration 
  •  Experience in Children's Social Work 
  • Experience in a managerial or supervising role
