£23,719 to £39,405 p.a.

St John Fisher Catholic College are seeking to appoint a Teacher of English to cover a period of maternity leave.

The successful candidate will use their skills and experience to continue to make English an engaging subject that underpins our curriculum and learning. As part of our dedicated team, the role is suitable for proficient or newly qualified teachers who can illustrate a passion for the subject that they can share with our pupils.

As a “Good” rated school, your delivery will be in line with the vision and values of the college and our collegiate partners to maintain our OFSTED rating.

The successful candidate will:

• Have an ability to deliver the curriculum through new practices that make achievement
• Be an excellent classroom practitioner
• Be flexible and passionate about pupil development
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

The post is temporary for the first year, with a view to being permanent upon successful performance review.
