Boney Hay Primary Academy is one of the sixteen academies that are currently part of the Staffordshire University Academies Trust (SUAT). By September 2019 SUAT will have nineteen academies in the Trust. Boney Hay is a very popular 4-11 Academy of 188 pupils. The academy has a very strong commitment to inclusive practice.
Due to the retirement of the current Principal the Trustees of the Staffordshire University Academies Trust are seeking to appoint a new Principal to lead the further development of the academy, from January 1st 2020.
The Trustees and the Local Governing Body, wish to appoint a substantive Principal who is an innovative and highly motivated leader. You will have the drive, passion and personality to continue the considerable progress that has been made under the current Principal and be prepared to meet the challenge of becoming an outstanding school. Self-motivated and ambitious you will drive the vision of the academy, further developing the rich and challenging curriculum and the present culture of high expectations and opportunity. You will provide professional leadership for the academy, within the multi academy trust, which secures its continued success and improvement.
You will bring a strong track record of school improvement and will actively embrace working closely and collaboratively with the Trustees, the Local Governing Body, staff and pupils to develop this academy into a truly outstanding community resource. To the right candidate, this post will be an extremely rewarding experience, an opportunity to really make a difference and lead the academy into the next exciting phase of its development.
