The Shaw Education Trust have a new opportunity to join The Kidsgrove Secondary School as a Teacher of English and Media Studies on a permanent basis. You will be joining a professional team in our successful English Department.

As an enthusiastic teacher of English & Media, the successful candidate will teach KS3 and KS4 English and GCSE Media to all ability ranges, ensuring a high standard of student performance. Notwithstanding the detail in this job description, the jobholder will undertake such work as may be determined by the Head of School from time to time, up to, or at a level consistent with the main responsibilities of the job.

In addition to QTS, a good degree in English or related subject is essential and you must have experience of teaching English Language, English Literature and Media.

Based primarily at The Kidsgrove Secondary School you will work alongside both Shaw Education Trust Executive Leadership team and the Academy Senior Leadership team.
