Teaching Assistant Apprentice (Level 2) Finham Park 2

Finham Park 2 is an exciting new co-educational academy in Coventry that opened in September 2015. Already a popular choice with local parents, we have a full cohort of Years 7 to 10 students. Our students are smart, thoughtful, inquisitive, well-behaved and polite; on entry they are significantly above the national average for attainment in English and Mathematics.

The school was set up by leaders from the ‘Outstanding’ (2015) Finham Park School and is proud to be part of and supported by the Finham Park Multi Academy Trust.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a professional and enthusiastic individual who will work both independently and alongside teachers, providing valuable support for Teaching and Learning activities, and eventually develop their own initiatives. The successful candidate will provide support in lessons but will also mentor students. You will be undertaking the Apprenticeship Training, which will allow you 20% off job training.

The role will work across all subjects and year groups but the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work with students of all abilities. The role will need to develop relationships with these students to maximise their learning potential over their school career.

Work Pattern
37 hours a week, term time only plus 5 days (Fixed Term)
