Customer and Schools Support Assistant – Ref: RT63419
Salary: G4 £18,981 - £20,956 per annum
Full time 37 hours Monday to Friday
Fixed Term until 30 April 2020
Your role will be to work as part of the Oracle Support Team within Financial Administration & Support Services. You will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective customer support service, including financial systems user instruction and dealing with payment enquiries.
You will be required to carry out the following duties:
- Provide first line support for all financial system related queries
- Provide a customer focussed service, working with customers to ensure that their needs are met
- Effective and timely system support administration actions, including validation of financial system data
- Provide training and support relating to the council’s financial transaction systems
A working knowledge or experience of Oracle Financial Systems would be beneficial.
To be successful you will have experience of working in a financial administration environment, together with possession of a GCSE or relevant business or office qualification.
This post is covered by the Government’s Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers. The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
