Job Title:                    Residential Support Worker

Working Hours:         22 hours per week Monday p.m. – Friday a.m.

Fixed Term Contract until 31^st March 2020, Term Time only (to include some split shifts)

Salary:                        Grade 6 (FTE £19,819.00 to £22,401.00 Pro Rata Term Time)

                                    Actual Salary £10,225.99 to £11,558.22 or £10.08 - £11.61 per hour

A Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce (QCF) or equivalent, is essential.

Saxon Hill Academy is seeking to appoint a Residential Social Care Worker to work early mornings and late afternoons/evenings in the friendly, homely, residential provision of the school known as ‘Sleepover Club’.

Applicants should preferably have knowledge and experience of working with young people with special needs. The role includes providing personal care and support to develop their independence, social skills and emotional well-being. A willingness to carry out occasional ‘Sleeping In’ duties as additional hours to cover staff absence is also required.

An element of administration work will also be a prerequisite so applicants should have a good standard of written English.
