Data Manager – One Year Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

  • 37.00 hours per week all year
  • NJC Salary Range SCP 36-38 (£32,878-£34,788 pa)
  • Term time Pro rata is Negotiable (39 weeks + 2 weeks)

The Governing Body are seeking to appoint a highly effective Data Manager to provide cover for maternity leave.

This role is to assist the Assistant Headteacher (Assessment) in the provision of an efficient and effective support service throughout the school. Inputting and analysing school assessment data and evaluating results, thus helping the school identify areas for improvement. Planning and organising the delivery of an effective curriculum timetable.  The postholder will have line management responsibility for the Data Assistant.

The role is 37 hours per week Monday – Friday, a degree of flexibility is required in line with the needs of the school.

The school uses the SIMS and 4MATRIX data analysis software to organise and analyse student data. This role is significant in supporting school self-evaluation and improvement.  Training will be given, but applicants will be expected to have achieved a good standard of education.  Experience in the use of SIMS and SISRA would be beneficial.
