Salary pro rata 32 hours , M - F term-time plus 2 weeks. Hours may be negotiable but will include working on a Friday

Abbey Hill School & College is a co-educational day school for pupils aged 3 - 19 years of age with moderate learning difficulties, ASD and Communication & Interaction difficulties.

The Governors are seeking to employ an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated and highly organised individual to the role of Finance and Administration Manager.

To apply you must have experience of working in a financial environment, this could be in a similar role within an education setting

Job Purpose
Working closely with Head Teacher and School Business Manager the successful applicant will:
* Oversee the day to day management of the school finances to include the preparation of budgets and financial planning.
* Support the School Business Manager with all administrative functions in order to assist the smooth running of the school.

Ideally you will hold a recognised accounting qualification - AAT or Certificate of School Business Management. Experience of H.R/Premises/H&S/GDPR would be advantageous.

The successful candidate must be able to:
* demonstrate excellent levels of literacy, numeracy and ICT
* prioritise their workload effectively within a fast paced environment
* demonstrate strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
* be able to support and facilitate the work of others
