Salary pro rata to 21 hours per week term time only
Hours of work: 21 hours working Monday, Thursday and Friday 8.30 - 4.00 p.m. Term-time plus one week.

Abbey Hill School & College is a co-educational day school for pupils aged 3 - 19 years of age with moderate learning difficulties, ASD and Communication & Interaction difficulties.

The Governors are seeking to employ an experienced, enthusiastic and highly organised individual for the post of Administration Assistant

Job Purpose
To provide specific clerical and administrative or financial functions for the school under the direction or instruction of senior staff.

Key Duties / Responsibilities

1. Provide general clerical support including clerical processes, word processing, IT based tasks requiring knowledge of various ICT packages and operation of office equipment
2. Deal with enquiries either by telephone or face-to-face and sign in visitors
3. Assist with arrangements for school visits and events
4. Maintain stocks and supplies
5. Undertake general financial administration
6. Binding, filing, laminating etc.
7. Provide administrative support for meetings and take notes at meetings

The successful candidate must be able to:
* demonstrate excellent levels of literacy, numeracy and ICT
* prioritise their workload effectively within a fast paced environment
* demonstrate strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
