This vital and challenging work is delivered locally in Dudley through our Family Solutions Teams where services have been designed to promote resilience, not reliance.

We provide families, communities and local organisations with the help they need to support all children and young people to do well and to stay safe, and our workforce is key to making this happen.

We are seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic administration assistant based at Stourbridge Family Centre.  The post will be 37 hours working Monday - Thursday, 9.00 - 5.00, Friday 9.00 - 4.30. Although based at Stourbridge Family Centre you will be expected to work from any other Family Centre throughout the borough when required.

The main duties include;

-to provide excellent customer service to families that contact the Family Centre

-to provide a wide range of administration support

-accurately record complex and sensitive data within timescales

-carry out data quality and interrogation of systems

-organise and manage multi agency meetings

-liaise with a variety of external professionals

-carry out financial duties including petty cash, purchase card and invoicing

Skills and experience

The post holder with have a wide range of Customer Service and Administration experience and will possess excellent ICT and Customer Service skills. You will be confident working within a busy environment, managing competing priorities ensuring work is completed effectively and efficiently.
