Key Stage 2 Class Teacher

Glebefields Primary School - Required for September 2019

The Governing Body of Glebefields Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and hard-working Class Teacher who is able to demonstrate excellent classroom practice in Key Stage 2.

The first post is a full time, permanent position working in Upper Key Stage 2. 

As we have two separate posts available please make it clear on your application form which position you are applying for, or if you wish to be considered for both posts. 

The successful applicant will be:

  • passionate about teaching and learning, with the ability to make learning fun whilst having high expectations of pupils;
  • committed to raising standards;
  • at least a good classroom practitioner;
  • committed to work as part of a team, but also be able to draw upon their own initiative;
  • experienced in teaching in Key Stage 2;
  • bringing their own personal and professional qualities and strengths to help drive improvements in our school;
  • willing to go the extra mile;
  • effective in their use of classroom management strategies and motivation of pupils.
